I have recently been reading about the virtues of demo trading and back testing. I have been reading Rob Bookers blog to learn about how he trades and what he does to find profitable trading methods.
I have been experimenting with a system that trades the Asian session breakout on the GBP/USD and hopefully I can get a good system together very soon.
I have also been experimenting with MetaTrader and the back testing functionality in that software. The programming language is a little hard to understand, but there are a lot of free systems available for download, so I’m trying to piece together the language by looking at the code from these systems. At some point, I may just throw in the towel and hire someone to do it.
