Whew, this was a tough one. The week started out like any other and I was excited to put in my first Accelerator Trade. I put in the usual lot sizes and the market started to move in my direction and quickly entered all 10 of my trades. The final result was a +10.4% gain on the account. Here is the first Accelerator trade for this week. This is the 30 minute chart. Click above to enlarge Price touched the top of the box and triggered two trades. It then tapped that support level several times before finally breaking the level and hitting the target. It was little nerve racking to sit [...] I took a short stack on the Accelerator Trade at the beginning of the week. Since price was too close to the Weekly Pivot, I only took 6 positions instead of the standard 10 positions. Click above to enlarge Price hit the target and I made +5.4% on the trade. Here is the closeup [...] Through my backtesting, I have discovered that the Monday Trade, otherwise known as the Monday Accelerator Trade works pretty well on Monday-Friday, so I’m just going to start calling it the Accelerator trade.
