This step can be a little confusing when you first start using Forex Tester.  In order to prepare the data for testing, it has to be processed so the program can create accurate graphs.  Check out the video here:

Hello Traders,

As you probably know, I am a proponent of back testing strategies to see if they work and to get extra practice without losing any money.  In the course of working with Forex Tester however, I realized that some of you may have some difficulty with certain steps in the process.

Therefore, I am going to start posting videos on how to use the software along with practical ways to speed up your testing and analyze your results.  Some of these videos are from the good folks at Forex Tester and other videos will be my own.  If you ever have any questions on how it works, feel free to contact me or leave a comment below.

Of course, past results are no guarantee of future returns but getting comfortable with a strategy and individual currency pairs are very important.  I am happy to say that the Forex Tester people are constantly making improvements to the program, so it just keeps getting better and better.  Here is the first video on how to install the program.  This also applies to the demo version.
