As you can see from the video, I didn’t reverse the position after I got stopped out and I paid for it.  Not a good night at all, losing almost 1% on the account.  I usually don’t lose that much in a night.  I have to stop and review my trades for this month.

This trade was OK, but why did I trade such a small trade size?  I should have traded a little bigger on this one.  I need to be using my trading calculator more to figure out the ideal trade size given the risk on every trade.  That way, I always risk the same % of the account and have a chance to make more on the bigger runs!

Reducing the number of trades that I take in a night has really helped calm me down and look for only the best trades. The only issue tonight was the fact that I took a trade in the USDJPY. This is a pair that I have not backtested and should not have traded.

If I had stuck to what I know, it would have been a profitable night. Instead, I ended up slightly down.
