Here is a link to an interview with trader Corey Rosenbloom. He tells us how he trades both ranging and trending markets. He trades equity index futures and I’m sure that his experiences can teach any trader a thing or two.
Of particular interest is his primary indicator, the 3/10, taught by Linda Raschke of Market Wizards fame. He goes into detail about what it is and how he uses it.
He also keeps his own blog and gives readers his forecasts into the market. The blog came about as a result of him going full time as a trader and wanted an outlet to reach other traders because he felt very isolated.
Corey firmly believes that anyone can be a successful trader if they put in the time and effort.

I have read and listened to a few of Joe Vitale’s books before and in my opinion, this is the best one. In the previous books, I don’t remember him mentioning his past or where he came from. Those books were also a little too promotional for my taste.
In this new book, he has decided to reveal information about his past. I found it amazing how he was able to overcome homelessness and poverty to become an extremely successful writer and self development speaker. After reading this book, it is almost impossible to have any excuses for not succeeding. There is a ton of good information and he does NOT try to sell you something on every page.

In my opinion, one of the best ways to learn how to trade well is to find out what other successful traders are doing and get ideas. Here is an interview with market maker turned at-home trader Chris Farrell. He doesn’t trade forex, but the information you can learn from him can still apply.
There are a ton of interviews on this website with very successful traders from around the world. Many of these traders have no desire to be ‘Gurus’ and pretty much keep to themselves. That is what makes these interviews so valuable because you would probably otherwise not have a chance to learn from them.

How do I improve this site?
I have been reviewing this website and figuring out how to make it better. My goal is to provide an account of the process I am going through to become a professional trader in order to provide information that will help others reach their trading goals. At this point, I think that there is one glaring shortcoming with regard to this site.
Like with any other independent venture, there is always some doubt as to if it is really possible to make a living trading.
One thing I have always done before entering any endeavor such as real estate investing, trading or online marketing, is first find out if there are people making the kind of money I want to be making.
To believe it is possible is the first step. The second step is to believe that it is possible for YOU.

I just got this link in my email yesterday and I thought it was a great video. It is a very candid interview with Tony Robbins, Frank Kern and John Reese. We all know who Tony Robbins is but if you don’t know, Frank Kern and John Reese are internet marketing rockstars. John and Frank have launched online products that have made $1,000,000 in ONE day. Yes, that’s a MILLION dollars…in ONE day!
This isn’t a video on how they did it because we aren’t here to learn internet marketing. The important thing to understand is the mindset and the way they motivated themselves to get to that level and how that applies to succeeding at trading.
