I’ve been testing my brains out and I have a couple strategies that are always profitable over time. Ones that work well are
Rob Booker’s Suprise Trade and simple support and resistance on the 4 hour chart. I feel pretty comfortable with the Suprise Trade, but you have to be prepared to take several small losses before a big profitable trade. I’m going to test it a few more times, then start trading it live.
I also received a couple of books from the kind folks at John Wiley and Sons, Inc. the publishers of a ton of financial books and I will be reviewing them here real soon.
Testing isn’t the funnest thing in the world but it is interesting to see what kind of results I get on every test. Another thing that I want to start testing is the Asian Session breakout trade in the GBPUSD.
