Hello and welcome to my trading blog. In this first post I will get you up to date with where I am in my trading and what I hope to accomplish with this website.
As you have probably read, my goal is to become a professional trader in two years and start a hedge fund. I am starting where many of you are…tired of the rat race and looking for something better. So what makes me think that I can succeed where 95% of the population fails? I think it comes down to two things, passion and the belief that I can do it.
I have wanted to be a full-time Trader and Real Estate Investor for a very long time and things have really started coming together in the past year. I really love trading and investing and can’t imagine myself doing anything else for a living.
First of all, a few ground rules. I will be listing all my trades in my live account. It is a mini account, so the dollar amounts are very small, but I believe in learning with real money because that is the only way to get a true emotional response from a profit or loss. You have to remember that once you learn the skill, the dollar amounts are just a matter of scale.
I will only discuss my trading in this account, but I will go into my thought process, how I decided on the trade and my analysis of the trade after it is over. I welcome your comments and constructive criticism on my trades, but I will not tolerate any negative people or negative thinking.
Finally, all my trades will be posted after they are closed out and any comments or analysis that I make on this blog is only meant for educational purposes. Any posts that I make are not meant to be investment advice of any kind.
