Best Forex Trading Education

I've taken a lot of trading courses over the years.

Some of them were fantastic…but many were just OK. However, I've always learned something from every course I purchased and I believe in continually learning new things and upgrading your skills.

But if I had to choose the very best courses that I feel would give you the best chance of success in Forex trading, these are it.

A couple of these courses are courses that I created, so of course I'm a little biased 🙂

Just like anything else, take what resonates with you, and leave the rest.

Zen8 Hedging

Hedging is the “red-headed stepchild” of Forex trading strategies. It's often misunderstood because it disregards most of the commonly-championed trading “rules” that everyone on the internet says you should live by.

But this works for me.

Before you buy this course, know that you can get my free PDF on this strategy. It will give you everything you need to know.

However, if you are like a lot of traders out there and want to see specific examples and ask me questions about Zen8, then you can purchase this course. There are 20+ educational videos and you'll get access to the live chat room where you can ask questions while you trade.

You can find out more about this course on this page.

TraderEvo Trader Development Program

I was frustrated with the way that trading is taught online, so I created the TraderEvo Program.

It takes you through the 4 steps of defining, testing and refining a Forex trading strategy.

Almost all of the courses out there only teach a strategy.

That's great if you want to learn a strategy. Anyone can learn a strategy.

But if you want to master a strategy, that requires a totally different type of course.

This is that course. Learn more about it here.

2nd Skies Forex (Chris Capre) Courses

I've learned a lot of price action trading skills from Chris. I would highly recommend taking his mindset and price action courses.

Another course that I've taken is his Ichimoku course. The course itself was great, but Ichimoku doesn't jive with me in general, so I don't trade it.

But if you are interested in Ichimoku, then I would highly recommend that course too.

He also has a few new courses that I haven't taken, so you should check those out too.

I had the opportunity to hang out with Chris and his girlfriend in Tahoe awhile back and he is a cool guy. Watch this video to learn more about Chris.

You can see all of his courses here.

Naked Forex Now Community (Walter Peters)

I've learned the most about trading from Walter. Not so much the entries and exits, but more on the psychology side.

Since trading is 90% psychology, then you could say that I learned a lot of my trading skills from Walter.

I first met Walter back in 2012 and his interview is the most popular interview on my YouTube channel. You can watch the full interview below.

We've also done The Truth About Forex Podcast together and we chat offline occasionally. I really value his input on things.

His community is very valuable and I still check in at least once a month. He shares is actual trades daily.

If you like what you hear in this interview, you can find out more about his community from the video on this page. Just a heads up, that pages redirects for some reason, so wait for the video to come up.

The London Open Strategy (Vic Noble and Darko Ali)

The best trading strategies are usually simple. It really doesn't get much simpler than this strategy.

Seriously.

I love simplicity.

…and the course is worth more than the price of admission.

Darko Ali (one of the instructors) also has a great story. He struggled in trading for 10 years before he finally decided to sit down and master this strategy.

The best thing about Darko is that he backtested the crap out of this strategy.

That's a common theme amongst successful traders.

Once he mastered it, this is the only strategy he uses. At least that what he says in the course, maybe he has added strategies since then.

Regardless, if you are looking for a really simple method that you only have to look at once a day, then this could be for you.

The London Close Strategy (Vic Noble and Shirley Hudson)

If the London open time doesn't work for you, then you can always trade the London close. Full disclosure, this is the only training program on this page that I haven't taken.

However, I have it on very good authority that Shirley is the real deal. I can't say any more than that.

The reason that I recommend this course, but haven't taken it, is because the London close is not an ideal time for me to trade, here in the Pacific timezone. I either have to pick the London open or the close. I'm not much of a morning person, so I prefer to trade the open.

Also, Shirley is a day trader, which is not a good match with my trading personality.

But if you are the type of trader who likes to risk 10 pips on a trade, to potentially make 10, 20, 30 pips…and be done for the day, then this course could be for you. Another benefit of this trading style is that she is very consistent. Her win rate is very high.
