Backtesting Software

Naked-Markets – This is my favorite backtesting software of all-time because it allows me to backtest manually, partially automated and fully automated. No other software I've seen is this flexible. You can watch my review video here.
Forex Tester – This is another good choice. It's not as good as Naked-Markets, but some might like it better.
Amibroker – A solid software for backtesting stocks. There is a learning curve, but once you get it, the software works well.

Profit Stacker EA for MT4 – Get more out of winning trades with this EA. It will automatically stack multiple trades between the entry and take profit to maximize the profit out of the move. The downside is you'll get more breakeven trades, but winning trades will usually be much bigger.
One-Cancels-Other EA for MT5 – Cancel the other pending order if one of the pending orders is triggered. Useful for many situations like getting in on retracements and range breakouts.
Risk Multiple Trailing Stop EA for MT4 – Trail your stop loss by R multiple to potentially get more out of profitable trades.

My Favorite Trading Books – This is a list of my favorite trading books. Most of them focus on trading strategies or success stories. Perfect for any trader.
My Favorite Trading Psychology Books – Mindset is actually more important than trading systems. If you're at the point on your trading journey where you finally understand that, then this list of books can help.
The Most Valuable Trading Books – These books are good trades…if you can buy them for a good price. Keep an eye out and you might be able to resell them for a sweet profit.

Zen8 Forex Hedging Program – Hedging is a deeply misunderstood trading method. What many people don't know is that it can be very flexible and profitable. Learn everything I know from my years of hedging with real money.

TradingView – The best charting platform for browsers. Nothing else comes close. You can watch my review video here. Nothing else comes close. You can also trade with available brokers.
MetaTrader 5 – It's showing its age, but it's free and still one of the best charting/trading platforms for automated trading and building trading robots.

Oanda – If you trade in the US, then this is the best broker that I've used. They have been around forever and their service is very good.
Scandinavian Capital Markets – If you're outside the US, then I would highly recommend checking these guys out. I met the owners in Sweden and they are good guys. A great option if you live in Europe.
Pepperstone – This is another highly rated broker in Australia. They do not accept US clients, but they DO accept traders in many other countries.

TraderSync – If you want to log into a website and see all of your stats without doing anything after the initial setup, then this is the best solution. It might be overkill for some, but it is the most comprehensive solution I've seen.
Naked-Markets – It can take reports from Oanda and MetaTrader and create detailed reports. This is not a full journaling solution, but it can fill in a big gap when it comes to analytics. Only available on the desktop version.
TradingView – You can use the chart capture feature on to create a snapshot of your chart. The platform also allows you to write some notes on the trade and play the result back later. This makes it a great journaling solution. See my complete tutorial here.
